I’m Jennie
After almost twenty years in recruitment, I came up with the idea of Balance in 2018. I’ve led UK and international talent teams for big brands, including WPP Brand Consulting, Ogilvy & Mather, OmnicomMediaGroup, AKQA and GroupM; however, in the latter years of my recruitment career, an urge started to grow inside me to do more.
The nuanced world of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion was an area I felt intrinsically drawn to. I also saw an absence of companies which could support the topic and challenge of inclusive hiring. The playing field for candidates is not level, and I knew much more work could be done.
I absolutely love delivering our Inclusive Recruitment Workshops. I’m also equally happy working with employers to audit and reshape their approach to hiring or partnering with a recruitment firm to develop their authentic DEI strategy.
A London girl for many years, these days I live in Hamble-Le-Rice on the south coast with my partner Adam, son Dexter and lively cocker spaniel Lola - who often makes guest appearances on my podcasts.
